Pandera South East Region is looking for a Product Management Lead with experience working alongside clients to drive the direction and development of analytical products. The Product Management Lead will direct all of our South East Portfolio and Project Management functions across our various operating channels. The Product Management Lead will be responsible for process and execution around delivery assurance within the South East project management teams and will work with various stakeholders in strategy, client relations, sales, operations and resource capacity planning. This role will act as a client and team strategic advisor; driving product vision and delivery. A candidate should possess a passion for creative problem solving, as well as guide, inspire and coach the business unit’s project management team. The position requires occasional travel within the South East and the candidate should be capable and willing to work on-site at client locations.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Work alongside clients to understand their business goals and provide input in creating a holistic strategy incorporating enterprise functional and technical dependencies
  • Ability to assess and decompose business needs into functional, technical, and design requirements
  • Lead a development team utilizing an iterative development methodology
  • Coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises project managers and influences them to take positive action and accountability for  governing procedure and standards
  • Partners with operations on process and tools optimization
  • Manage projects to timeline, adherence to budget and governs project management methodology.
 
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a software development environment.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading and mentoring project management teams.
  • Experience working between business and technical teams to drive prioritized development needs
  • Ability to work with project governance to communicate and mitigate any issues
  • Experience with lean and agile methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience determining quantitative value of delivery objective and refining value proposition
  • Experience managing development teams utilizing iterative methodologies
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
