Pandera aims to deliver innovative technical solutions to its clients.  As a member of the Solution and Delivery Organization, an ETL Developer helps achieve this goal by offering data integration expertise across a variety of database platforms and software tools.  By working closely with other team members, the ETL Developer delivers timely and effective business intelligence.

  • Provide technical knowledge of database load processes.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements and technical specification documents.
  • Responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of ETL program logic.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL-related activities.
  • Have the ability to work closely with project managers, business analysts, data modelers and solution architects in the timely execution of project deliverables.

  • Must have 5+ years of cumulative IT experience.
  • Must have 3+ years of cumulative experience with SSIS ETL software tool.
  • Have solid experience writing SQL queries and experience with one or more database platforms and appliances such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, etc.
  • Have experience with reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, etc.
  • Have experience in Software Life Cycle (SLC) methodology.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and work on multiple tasks in order to meet key milestones and deadlines.
  • Proven experience in working closely with both internal customers and external customers.
  • Have knowledge about Agile Development methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
